Teddy Murphy - Special Dog

Hi, my name is Teddy and i’m a long haired German Shepherd. I have been with Specialist Dog Training since 2007.

Back in the day, Jackie and I trained along-side the elite ex-police dog handler teams, and we loved learning the search, tracking and agility skills that they taught us.

I’ve slowed down a bit now, but I still have an important role here at Specialist Dog Training in Kent. I assist Jackie by guiding nervous dogs and helping them overcome their fears.

I also share some top training tips on a regular basis with all the dog owners out there who need a bit of guidance.

It goes without saying that I have the social skills that makes Specialist Dog Training proud.

Bear Murphy - Special Puppy

Hi, my name is Bear and I’m a long haired German Shepherd puppy!

I have only been with Specialist Dog Training here in Kent for a short while, but I am already learning the ropes. I am proud to have completed the Specialist Dog Training First Paws puppy training course with flying colours and i'm currently still undergoing my media training because I can sometimes get distracted from the job in hand (but I am getting really good at featuring in the puppy training videos!).

I have also learned not to stray too far away from Jackie. Sometimes it’s hard to resist temptation but I have a lot to live up to with my big brother Teddy. He helps by showing me how to be a well-behaved dog.

I will be helping Teddy with some ‘tips of the week’ but these will be aimed at all the youngsters out there, so be sure to look out for my ‘Bear’s Big Puppy Tips’ and let’s make our owners proud!
